I got to know about Khadija at my friend's baby shower.  After learning about who she is and what she does, I started taking her classes about the stages of pregnancy and birthing. I also hired her as my doula for my birth.  She came to my house twice and continued to support and assist me for more than the agreed hours throughout my 3-day labor. She had shown patience during her stay while we had our planned home birth. She then accompanied us to the hospital after the safe delivery until we were settled in the recovery room. Her presence and help were invaluable to my experience, and I would recommend her services to anyone that needs to educate themselves about the pregnancy and birthing process, and who would like a calming presence during the delivery.

When I gave birth to my lovely daughter Noura, I had this content smile on my face for a while afterward. I and my husband were extremely thankful to Allah to have sent us Khadeeja as a Doula. She helped us achieve my birth just like I had planned it. I had a traumatic first birth experience that ended with an Emergency C Section. I felt so relieved just by the thought that this time around I had taken my own decisions. I'm so glad to have had Khadeeja as my birth doula. Khadijah helped me deliver my baby the way that I wanted to. I had already explained my birth plan to my doctor, who just so happened to be the one who delivered my baby. My doctor, though she was kind had a busy schedule, and did not have time to do things the way that I wanted, and did not even remember what we had discussed. Khadeeja stood up for me in the delivery room; supported me and helped me walk around the room and try different positions to ease my pains, reassured my husband and family, defended my birth plan, and shared the most important day of my life as if it were her own.
